Pricing

Pay per seat. Pool everything.

CommSync bills the workspace, not the person — one subscription, priced per seat, with every limit multiplied by your seat count and shared across the team. No per-feature toggles, no contact-list tax.

Every new workspace starts with a 7-day free trial of Power — no card required, full access to everything. Add a card whenever you’re ready; your paid plan starts that day.

Channels, storage, and AI credits scale with seats — set your team size to see each plan’s pooled totals.

Prices in USD. Channels, storage, and AI credits multiply by seats and pool across the workspace — one teammate can use more than their share as long as the pool has headroom. Need more AI? Top up credits from $5 with usage-based pricing; need more room? Add storage in 50 GB blocks for $5/mo each. Agents are flat per workspace; each member gets their own webhook endpoints. Hitting a cap never breaks existing data; it only blocks new additions until you upgrade or free up space.

Questions

The fine print, in large type.

How does the free trial work?

Every new workspace starts with a 7-day free trial of the Power plan the moment it’s created — no card required, full access to everything: unlimited channels, AI, agents, and team members.

Add a card any time in Settings → Billing to pick a plan. Your paid plan starts the day you add the card — a normal 30-day billing cycle from that day. Nothing is ever charged during the trial, because there’s no card to charge.

If the trial ends without a card, the workspace is paused — syncing stops, your data stays safe — and kept for 30 days. If no card is added by then, the workspace and its data are permanently deleted. Your account always survives, and we email reminders before the trial ends and before any deletion. One free trial per workspace.

What counts as a channel?

A channel is a line you send and receive on — a phone number (Twilio, JustCall, or Skyetel) or a connected email account. Channels belong to the workspace, and a given number or address can only be linked to one workspace at a time.

How does per-seat billing actually work?

The workspace is the billing unit — one subscription, with the quantity equal to your seat count. Channel, storage, and AI-credit allowances multiply by seats and pool across the whole team.

A 4-seat Pro workspace has 60 channels, 100 GB of storage, and $40 of AI credits a month — shared, so one teammate can use more than their “share” as long as the pool has headroom.

What happens when I add or remove a teammate?

Inviting a member grows your seat count automatically, with an immediate prorated charge for the remainder of the billing cycle — you see a “you’ll be charged $X now” preview before confirming.

Removing a member never auto-shrinks your seats. That’s deliberate — shrinking could silently drop the workspace below its channel or storage cap mid-cycle. To reclaim a seat, lower the quantity in Settings → Billing and the credit is applied to your next invoice.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes — tier and seat changes are prorated immediately, never deferred to the next billing period. Upgrades charge the prorated remainder now; downgrades apply a prorated credit to your next invoice.

How do AI credits work?

Every plan includes a monthly allowance of AI credits per seat — dollars of AI usage, refreshed each billing period. Labels, inbox triage, the daily brief, Ask, and Agents all draw from the same pooled allowance.

Need more? Buy credit top-ups (from $5, up to $500 at a time) with usage-based pricing — purchased credits never expire and are only used after your included allowance runs out. An optional auto top-up keeps the balance funded, with a monthly cap you control.

What happens if I hit a cap?

Nothing breaks and nothing is deleted. Hitting a cap only blocks new additions — a new channel or webhook endpoint waits for an upgrade, storage warns at 80% (historical import pauses there while live messages keep flowing; or add 50 GB blocks for $5/mo each), and AI features pause when your included credits and purchased balance run out — top up to keep going, or wait for the allowance to refresh.

Do AI agents come with every plan?

CommSync Agents — the AI responders that auto-handle inbound SMS and email on channels you whitelist — start on Pro (1 agent). Power includes 5 agents. There’s no monthly reply cap: agent replies are usage-based and billed from your workspace’s AI credits, like every other AI feature. Starter still gets the rest of CommSync AI: labels, inbox triage, the daily digest, and Ask.
